As CEO of DaVita Inc., catapulted the company from the brink of bankruptcy to the Fortune 500 list while simultaneously leading the kidney care industry in patient clinical outcomes.
Created a community focused as much on organizational outcomes as on helping teammates with personal and professional growth, leading to “case studies” taught at Harvard and Stanford universities.
Pledged to make DaVita one of the first Fortune 500 companies to have a majority-diverse board in 2015, and reached that goal in 2017.
